I have been going to this for about 20 years, I have taken different folks each year and they all love it. It is now a family and friends annual event!
Very nice place to walk with family and friends and enjoy the scenery.
We're on our way!!
This place is awesome! Sweet deals on a variety of unique items, good people, and a great time! Cell phone service is literally nonexistent though lol, but there's enough entertainment to keep you too busy for your phone anyways
My first visit to the flea market was 32 years ago. I had just given birth to my son. We stayed for several days and camped by our site. I was able to get small jobs while there. I cut onions one day (I don't remember for who) and also help cook chickens and worked the grill for Jim Blumker(not sure if I spelled that right). Well I did not make it back until last year and I have to say, it was everything I remember. I can't wait to come tomorrow and spend the day.
My fiance and I have been coming to this American Brilliant Market for years. We live and breathe vintage and retro everything. Hunting all day long in the heat and meeting new people as well as the treasures we find everyone we go, is worth it's weight in gold. We look forward to this every year. See yall this month and for many years to come.
Love the affordable camping. What kid doesn t like playing in the creek.
My husband and I found out about the friendship flea market 4 years ago and haven't missed a show since. In fact, we plan our vacations around the summer and fall market dates. Love Friendship Village, the people, the food, and the awesome deals!
I was born in Milan at the Whitlatch Clinic in 1954 during the "Hoosiers" phenomena. I grew up with the Shoot twice a year for as long as I can remember. I have moved and lived far afield before, but don't foresee returning to SE IN any time soon. Trying to explain a shoot to a non-initiated person can be a challenge. People wearing loincloths? Well, not everyone, it depends on how "in costume" you want to get. A cup made out of a bull's scrotum at one of the stalls? At the time I saw this the offer was "Free drink to anyone who drinks from this cup." It was VERY dusty!! The setting, the smell, the sounds, this is not a "re-enactment" this is a Shoot.
We were vendors at the fall show last year. This is a phenomenal market. The staff is super nice and on top of their game. The facilities were kept clean and maintained. The other vendors were very personable. This show had a very diverse compilation of items for sale. I can't say enough great things about this market!
I have been going to Friendship flea market and muzzleloader's shoot since 1975 or so, the camping is great, there are so many friendly people there. You can get just about anything you want or need in the flea markets and a variety of food is always available. The flea market has really grown as the years have passed. It is an experience you need to have.
We come to friendship every year and just love it with lots and lots of dealer you can find almost anything your looking for and the country side is beautiful
I was pleasantly surprised to see this ad. My mother Mildred Cash worked there for years and loved it. I think that was the highlight of her year.
We have have been to the Friendship many times we love it. It our get away time for me and my husband. Love that our phones don't work there! About the new web page I like it but wish you would have kept the dates on the main page. That way your not having to look around for it. See you in My June!

First time visiting 2015-it was so much fun! Anyone that likes flea marketing needs to go-it is huge and has a great variety of shops
I have been going to the "shoot" for years. Living in Dillsboro we are very close. I always loved going and spending the day running around and the smell of black powder, camp fires, people playing music at camp sites, the bonfire music at the main flea market, barn dance and the food was great always had to get a corn dog! Every time. Don't forget the buckskins walking around always so neat to take your mind back to those times. As being older enjoyed riding motorcycles through all that mess. LOL Memories
